Lakewood Township welcomed a new branch of Mandelbaum Barrett PC on Wednesday morning, as local government officials, business leaders, and community representatives gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Tower Five office building on Avenue of the States.

Founded in 1930, Mandelbaum Barrett is a North Jersey-based law firm offering a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses. The new Lakewood location marks the firm’s first office in the Central and South Jersey region, expanding its presence to nine locations nationwide.

Township Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein welcomed the firm, noting that although its physical office in Lakewood is new, Mandelbaum Barrett has served local residents for decades and is familiar with the community’s unique needs.

“Lakewood is pleased to welcome your firm to our thriving town and its corporate sector, and wish you the best of luck on the road ahead,” Lichtenstein said.

Barry Mandelbaum, Chairman of Mandelbaum Barrett PC, said the decision to establish an office in Lakewood was driven by the township’s rapid growth and expanding business community.

“Lakewood is the fastest growing town in New Jersey, and it was a no-brainer to open our newest branch right here,” Mandelbaum said. “This allows us to be more accessible to our clients, while strengthening relationships within the community.”

The firm said it looks forward to serving Lakewood’s businesses, families, and community leaders for years to come.
