Amazon Introduces AI Wearables That Record Conversations and Create Summaries

Oct 15, 2026·2 min read

(VINnews) – Amazon introduced two artificial intelligence wearable devices Thursday designed to help users remember conversations, organize tasks and manage their schedules.

The devices, developed by Bee, an AI wearable company Amazon acquired in 2025, can transcribe conversations, generate summaries, create reminders and help users follow up on discussions, CBS News reported.

Excited about our new Bee devices launching today. They turn your conversations into summaries, to-dos, and reminders, so the details are there when you need them.

Bee Frontier goes on your wrist or clips to your clothing, and Bee Eclipse snaps to the back of your phone to catch what you’d otherwise forget throughout your day, whether it’s notes from a class you’re taking, the details of a trip you’re planning, or an idea that comes to you in the car.

They connect to Alexa+ and https://t.co/Z6kkwemkMT, so the things you mention are easy to find later. And you’re always in control…one button turns it on or off, a light shows when it’s on, audio is never stored, and only you can see your data.

Think folks are gonna find this really handy. https://t.co/miymqkFzPS

The Bee Frontier, priced at $74.99, is a silicone wristband that can also be clipped to clothing. It features two microphones, water resistance and up to seven days of battery life.

The Bee Eclipse, priced at $99.99, is a credit-card-sized device that attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone. Amazon says it offers more than 21 days of battery life and will be available soon.

Both devices can turn conversations into summaries, to-do lists and reminders. They also integrate with services including Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to draft follow-up emails and create calendar invitations.

Basic features, including conversation summaries and 14 days of memory, are available for free. A Bee Pro subscription costs $11.99 a month and provides expanded app integrations, suggested tasks and additional memory features.

Privacy remains a key consideration for devices designed to capture conversations. Amazon says audio is processed in real time and deleted after transcription, while transcripts are encrypted and remain under the user’s control. The devices include an indicator light when recording is active and a button to turn recording on or off.

The launch comes as technology companies explore AI-powered devices that offer hands-free assistance beyond traditional smartphones.
