NYPD investigators, the Gun Suppression Division, and the Queens District Attorney’s Office have made an arrest in connection with the senseless shooting and murder of a 14-year-old boy.

Statement from Queens DA Katz: “The broad daylight murder of 14-year-old Malakai Adams in Edgemere was as senseless as it was brutal. Now, a 17-year-old is facing up to 25 years to life in prison. If convicted, the brazen defendant allegedly took off after the shooting on the victim’s scooter.”
