President Donald Trump has announced the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, inviting Americans to report suspected fraud, corruption, and misuse of taxpayer dollars through Fraud.gov.

The initiative aims to enlist the public in the fight against fraud involving federal programs, with financial rewards available for qualifying tips. The Justice Department says eligible whistleblowers may receive $10,000 to $30,000 for information that leads to criminal charges, subject to program requirements and approval. Trump also discussed the possibility of a 1% commission on recovered funds.

The administration is encouraging Americans to help identify suspected wrongdoing and protect taxpayer money.
