📲🇮🇱 Netanyahu Gives Out ‘Personal’ Phone Number And WhatsApp Is Flooded Within Minutes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released what he described as his personal phone number, inviting Israelis to contact him directly with their questions, suggestions and problems. In a campaign video, adviser Topaz Luk asks if he can publish the number. “Topaz, have you gone crazy?” Netanyahu responds before agreeing. “I want to hear from you. Your suggestions, your questions, your problems,” Netanyahu tells Israelis, adding that while he can’t promise to answer everyone, he’ll respond to as many as possible. Within minutes, the number was flooded with hundreds of calls and messages, and its WhatsApp account was blocked. Luk said they were working to restore it and directed Israelis to Telegram in the meantime. But the stunt quickly raised another question: Is it really Bibi’s personal phone? Critics questioned whether the number was actually operated by campaign staff and suggested the effort could potentially be used to collect contact information from voters. Adding to the mystery, eagle-eyed Israelis noticed a WhatsApp group visible on the phone containing a message supporting Netanyahu rival Naftali Bennett, leading to jokes that Bibi probably wasn’t carrying his actual everyday cellphone. It’s also not Netanyahu’s first time pulling the stunt. During the 2022 election campaign, he similarly released a number to the public, with Likud claiming 9,420 calls poured in during the first 30 minutes. The latest move comes as Israel’s election campaign heats up, with Netanyahu increasingly taking his message directly to voters through public appearances, campaign videos and now, apparently, the telephone. 🕸️ READ MORE: https://jewishbreakingnews.com/netanyahu-gives-out-personal-phone-number-and-whatsapp-is-flooded-within-minutes/
