EARLY MORNING EARTHQUAKE SHAKES SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONTARIO — A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck the Inland Empire early Wednesday morning, with shaking reported across parts of Southern California. The quake hit at approximately 5:37 a.m., about four miles southeast of Ontario. Residents reported feeling it as far away as Irvine, Anaheim, Riverside, San Bernardino and West Covina.
