3 Arrested In Counterfeit Amiri And Drug Probe At Miami Store Three people were arrested after an undercover operation at The Legend Gang Store on Northwest Seventh Street in West Miami-Dade. Investigators say Yeinys Rodriguez-Canizares, Roynel Matos, and Yassel Darboys were selling fake Amiri clothing and shoes, then later testosterone. Undercover buys started in March with $970 in Amiri clothes. Another $1,100 in Amiri shoes followed in April. Customs and an Amiri representative confirmed the merchandise was counterfeit. In May, an undercover investigator bought testosterone for $300 in a deal allegedly arranged by Matos and involving Darboys and Rodriguez-Canizares. A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s lab confirmed it was testosterone cypionate. Authorities also tracked more than $815,000 in wire transfers sent to financial institutions in Istanbul, Turkey. Rodriguez-Canizares and Matos face charges that include racketeering, counterfeiting, and a controlled substance offense. Darboys is charged in connection with racketeering and the drug sale. In bond court Thursday, Rodriguez-Canizares’ bond was set at $25,000 and Matos’ at $35,000, both with a Nebbia requirement.
