OVERNIGHT BIG RIG CRASH STILL CAUSING PROBLEMS ON 210 FREEWAY A major overnight big-rig crash continues to impact traffic on the 210 Freeway in Claremont Monday morning. The crash happened at approximately 12:44 a.m. on the eastbound 210 just west of Baseline Road, when a big rig overturned and went across the center divider. Debris was reportedly scattered across the freeway, and diesel fuel spilled onto both sides of the roadway. The wreckage blocked the eastbound carpool lane and two left lanes, along with the westbound carpool lane. CHP issued a SigAlert, and the affected lanes were expected to remain closed until further notice. The truck driver was taken to a hospital with injuries. A black sedan was also reported overturned on the eastbound side, although it remains unclear how it was involved. Drivers traveling through Claremont should expect delays while crews work to clear the wreckage and diesel spill.
