Fire Department Training Slows Traffic Near Magnolia & Whitsett in Valley Village Fire department crews appear to be conducting a training exercise along Magnolia Boulevard just east of Whitsett Avenue this afternoon. Several fire trucks are occupying traffic lanes on the eastbound side, forcing cars to carefully maneuver around the emergency vehicles. The road remains open, but drivers should expect some slowing through the area and use extra caution while passing the crews. This appears to be a training exercise and not an active fire emergency.
