Cheder Miami More Than Doubles Enrollment As Mayor Visits Cheder Miami just opened Year 4 with 45 students, after starting with only 4 students three years ago. The school has more than doubled almost every year: 4 students in Year 1, 10 in Year 2, 22 in Year 3, and 45 now. More families are still on the waiting list. Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner and First Lady Shanyn Meiner made an official visit and came away impressed by the staff and the cleanliness of the school. They said Cheder Miami is the future of Miami Beach.
