Dodgers Swept by Milwaukee Brewers — World Series Dreams Come to a Crushing End The Los Angeles Dodgers' hopes of winning a third consecutive World Series championship came to a stunning end Thursday night after the Milwaukee Brewers defeated them 6-4 at Dodger Stadium, completing a four-game sweep of the National League Championship Series. Despite taking an early 4-0 lead, including a three-run homer by Shohei Ohtani, the Dodgers couldn't hold on as Milwaukee rallied for the victory. The Brewers advance to their first World Series since 1982, while the Dodgers suffer a bitter reversal after sweeping Milwaukee in last year's championship series.
