Suspect Pleads Guilty after Desecrating Maryland Jewish Cemetery with Swastikas A Dundalk resident named George Horn has pleaded guilty to religious vandalism charges, after he desecrated headstones at the Ohr Knesseth Israel Anshe Sfard Cemetery in July 2023. The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland said Horn used black spray paint to deface 12 headstones with swastikas, some of which couldn’t be fully cleaned off, and required replacing. Horn admitted to specifically targeting a Jewish cemetery, and investigators found a journal of his filled with Nazi and white supremacist references. Horn's sentencing is scheduled for January, and he could face a maximum of three years in prison.
