A new Republican-commissioned poll shows Governor Kathy Hochul leading Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman by just 4.4 percentage points, 50.3% to 45.9%, ahead of the November 3 election. The survey of 1,000 likely voters, conducted October 12–14, suggests a much tighter race than other recent polls, which have shown Hochul with double-digit leads.
