Footage Appears to Contradict Carlson’s Account of Israel Airport Incident

JERUSALEM (VINnews) – Video circulating on social media shows Tucker Carlson smiling and interacting warmly with security personnel at Ben Gurion Airport, amid his claims that he faced mistreatment during a recent visit.

The short clip, published Thursday, shows Carlson signing paperwork, posing for a photo with a security guard and embracing him before departing the airport.

Carlson had alleged that airport officials confiscated his passport and separated his executive producer for questioning following an interview with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. He characterized the experience as irregular before leaving the country later that day.

The U.S. Embassy in Israel rejected claims that Carlson was detained. A spokesperson said he underwent standard passport control procedures similar to those faced by other visitors.

In a statement, the Israel Airports Authority said Carlson and his team were not detained or interrogated, but were asked routine questions in a private VIP lounge to protect their privacy. The authority said no unusual incident occurred and denied any improper conduct.
