Watch: US Ambassadors Perform Parody Song Targeting Tucker Carlson in Jerusalem
JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The current U.S. ambassador to Israel and his predecessor took the stage together Monday night at a Jerusalem hotel, performing a parody song that one of them said was aimed at conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.
U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee and former Ambassador David Friedman played guitars at the The David Citadel Hotel while welcoming a visiting group from the United States.
During the informal performance, the two men sang a rendition of the song Hound Dog. Friedman indicated the performance was dedicated to Carlson, with the adapted lyric: “You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog cryin’ all the time.”
Video of the event circulated on social media, drawing mixed reactions. Carlson has frequently commented on U.S. foreign policy, including American support for Israel.
Neither ambassador immediately issued a formal statement about the performance.
