As summer draws to a close and thousands of guests prepare to arrive for Tishrei in Crown Heights to spend the Yomim Tovim by the Rebbe, preparations are underway at Moshe Rubashkin’s home, which serves as a major hub for Hachnosas Orchim throughout the month.

A major change this year will be the creation of a completely separate section for women and girls.

Following requests from community members and Rabbonim, a dedicated area is being prepared with its own sukkah and dining room, providing a more private and modest setting, separate from the bochurim.

The preparations also include renovations, the purchase of new stoves and kitchen equipment, and changes to the setup of the home.

Rubashkin’s home will be fully operational, hosting thousands of bochurim and men, while the newly designated area will provide a separate space for women and girls throughout Tishrei.
