Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) is inviting residents to nominate outstanding Jewish leaders from New York’s 17th Congressional District for his 2026 Jewish Changemaker Award.

The award will recognize a constituent from the Jewish community who has made a positive impact on residents of NY-17 and has proven to be a true “changemaker” for others.

Congressman Lawler is seeking nominations for individuals making a difference in a variety of ways, including strengthening Jewish life, serving their communities, leading businesses or nonprofit organizations, mentoring others, volunteering, or making an impact through public service.

“I want to recognize the individuals whose dedication helps strengthen the Hudson Valley,” Congressman Lawler said.

Nominees must live in New York’s 17th Congressional District. Nominations are open now and must be submitted by Friday, August 21, 2026.
