Ramapo Police officers responded to 472 calls for service and made 10 arrests over the weekend, including four arrests involving drivers accused of operating vehicles while intoxicated or impaired.

Among the four impaired-driving arrests was an aggravated DWI case in which a driver registered a blood alcohol concentration of .26%, more than three times the legal limit of .08%. Another driver was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

Police also made three misdemeanor arrests for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Additional arrests included one person charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, another for displaying a forged certificate of inspection, and one individual taken into custody on an active warrant.

Ramapo Police said officers remain proactive in their efforts to keep the town safe and thanked the community for its continued support.
