The second day of the 11th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad concluded with hundreds of Chabad educators immersed in professional development, inspiration, and meaningful connection, as the largest-ever gathering of Chabad Mechanchos drew to a close.

Nearly 1,000 participants representing 210 schools across six continents spent the day learning practical tools to strengthen their Chinuch while deepening the bonds that unite educators around the world.
Throughout the Kinus, this year’s theme, “ונפשו קשורה בנפשו – Enduring Connections,” served as a guiding thread, highlighting the profound and lasting relationships at the heart of authentic Chinuch.

The day began with opportunities to refresh b’gashmius and b’ruchnius, including morning exercise, swimming, and Chassidus Shiurim. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky of Rechovot delivered the morning maamar, while a parallel Hebrew Chassidus session enabled Hebrew-speaking Mechanchos to participate, a new addition reflecting the growing international reach of the Kinus.

The all-day Chinuch Resource Fair, exploring innovative curricula, educational tools, and classroom resources developed specifically for Chabad schools, enabled Mechanchos to stock up on high quality high-qualityr their classrooms before the coming year.

A highlight of the morning was “Connect 4,” an engaging panel discussion in which veteran Mechanchos shared insights into four essential connections that define successful Chinuch, and networking huddles for niche Chinuch topics took place as well.

Throughout the day, participants chose from dozens of workshops led by experienced Mechanchim, Mechanchos, Rabbanim, and educational professionals. Sessions addressed topics including helping students who have r”l lost a parent with Sarah Rivkah Kohn of Links, Your Chinuch Challenge Meets the Rebbe’s Chinuch Toolbox with Sara Blau and Shterna Rappaport of Merkos Chinuch Office, Connecting Students To Their Yiddishkeit with Rabbi Gluckowsky and Incorporating Multiple Skills Into One Chumash Lesson with Dr. Sara Rosenfeld, are just a few.

Specialized tracks also provided targeted guidance for school leaders, curriculum directors, teachers of children with diverse learning needs, and educators supporting students through personal challenges.

After an interactive networking lunch led by Mrs. Shterni Rosenfeld, and an additional round of workshops, the Kinus concluded with an uplifting closing session, “Never Alone,” featuring an address by Mrs. Nechoma Itkin alongside moving musical performances by students of Cheder Chabad of Monsey and Bnos Chaya Mushka. The program captured the spirit of the Kinus, reminding participants that although they return to communities spanning the globe, they remain connected through a shared mission and a common sense of purpose.

As the Mechanchos departed for their schools and shlichus around the world, they carried home renewed inspiration, practical tools, and strengthened friendships that will continue to support them throughout the coming school year.

The record-breaking participation at this year’s Kinus reflected the remarkable growth of Chabad Chinuch worldwide and the enduring commitment of educators to answer the Rebbe’s call to continually strengthen Chinuch, ensuring that every child receives the education, guidance, and personal connection they deserve.
