Despite the late hour, hundreds gathered at approximately 2:30 a.m on Friday. at the Klausenburger Beis Hamedrish on Main Street in Monsey for the Levaya of HaRav Tzvi Zev Berger Z”L, a Dayan of the Sanz-Klausenburg Kehilla in Boro Park.

HaRav Berger Z”L was suddenly niftar at just 43 years old after failing to wake from his sleep while vacationing in Switzerland earlier this week. Following the Levaya, the Kevurah took place at Har Shalom Beis HaChaim. Chaverim of Rockland and Ramapo Police assisted with traffic and crowd control.
