
RIGHT-WING SURGE: Netanyahu Bloc Reaches 63 Seats As Bennett Slides To Six
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing bloc would secure a solid Knesset majority with 63 seats, while Naftali Bennett’s party has fallen to just six seats, according to a Channel 14 poll released Tuesday evening following the Likud primaries.
Likud remains the largest party with 32 seats, down one from the previous poll. The opposition bloc falls by two seats to 46, while the Arab parties receive a combined 11 seats.
Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party places second with 24 seats, gaining one from last week. Shas receives 10 seats and the Democrats nine. Otzma Yehudit climbs by two seats to eight, while Yisrael Beiteinu and United Torah Judaism each receive seven. Religious Zionism remains unchanged at six seats.
Bennett’s Beyachad party drops sharply to six seats, bringing it closer to the electoral threshold. Among the Arab parties, Ra’am receives six seats, up one from last week, while Hadash-Ta’al receives five.
Several parties remain below the electoral threshold: Balad at 2.1%, Zehut at 1.1%, Beit Tzioni Miluimnikim at 1.2%, Gilad Erdan at 0.1%, Ofer Winter at 0.9%, and Blue and White at 0.4%.
Netanyahu also holds a substantial advantage when respondents were asked who is best suited to serve as prime minister, receiving 55% support. Eisenkot receives 35%, Bennett 6%, Avigdor Liberman 3%, and Benny Gantz 1%.
In a direct matchup between Netanyahu and Eisenkot, Netanyahu leads 55% to 45%.
