IDF STRIKES: Hamas Commanders Targeted In Gaza, Including October 7 Terrorist
The IDF announced Wednesday that the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes against multiple Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip, including a terrorist who participated in the October 7 massacre.
According to the military, two Hamas commanders were targeted in the Nuseirat area, including one who took part in the October 7 attacks. The IDF said the terrorists were involved in planning attacks against Israeli troops operating in Gaza.
In a separate strike, the Air Force targeted another Hamas commander in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood who was also planning attacks against IDF forces, the military said.
The IDF said precautions were taken ahead of the strikes to reduce the risk to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
Reuters, citing the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry, reported that an Israeli strike on a police post in Gaza City killed nine Palestinians. Medics cited by Reuters said another person was killed in the Nuseirat strike, bringing the reported death toll from Wednesday’s strikes to at least 10.
The IDF did not immediately provide additional details on the identities of the Hamas commanders targeted or confirm the Palestinian casualty figures.
