MAJOR UPGRADE: Powerful New Cooling Systems Installed At Rebbi Nachman Tziyon Ahead Of Rosh Hashanah
With tens of thousands of mispallelim expected to arrive in Uman for Rosh Hashanah, major new air-conditioning systems have been installed at the tziyon of Rebbi Nachman of Breslov in an effort to provide relief from the intense heat and overcrowding during the busy Yom Tov period.
The Breslov Union in Uman said the powerful new systems were specifically designed for large, densely packed spaces. Approximately 20 industrial-strength fans are also expected to be installed in the coming days to circulate and evenly distribute the cooled air throughout the entire tziyon complex.
In addition to the new systems inside the tziyon itself, new air conditioners have been installed on the floor of the “Sefardi Kloiz.” Existing cooling systems throughout the complex have also undergone extensive cleaning and maintenance ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
Officials said the project involved significant planning and consultation with international climate and air-conditioning experts. Specialists conducted simulations based on expected crowd density and developed an engineering plan intended to maximize the effectiveness of the cooling systems.
Rabbi Nosson Tzemach, a gabbai at the tziyon, said a specialist was brought in last week to thoroughly clean the existing systems and ensure they operate at full capacity during Rosh Hashanah.
The goal is to maintain a comfortable temperature even during peak hours, when the tziyon is packed with mispallelim, allowing the massive crowds to focus on their tefillos with greater comfort and yishuv hadaas.
