Israeli Missing in Japan; Police Ask Public for Help

Israel Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Amir Ambarbar, a 23-year-old from Ramla who left Israel on April 20, 2026, and entered Japan on August 2.
His whereabouts are unknown since then.
On Thursday, his family granted permission to the police to publicize his disappearance.
The police described Amir as approximately 1.70 meters (5’7″) tall, with a slim build, brown hair, and black eyes.
