Thousands Set To Depart For Historic Nesia To Eretz Yisroel With Viznitz-Monsey Rebbe Shlita
A major travel operation is set to begin this week as thousands of Viznitz-Monsey chasidim and talmidim head to Eretz Yisroel for a week of tefillah, learning and gatherings led by the Viznitz-Monsey Rebbe shlita.
Chartered flights arranged by Nesia Travel are scheduled to depart on Wednesday and Thursday, with the Rebbe himself expected to leave Wednesday night.
The trip will bring together a large contingent of chasidim and hundreds of yeshiva bochurim, with participants traveling from the United States to join events planned throughout Eretz Yisroel.
Among the central parts of the itinerary will be visits to mekomos hakedoshim and kivrei tzaddikim, along with meetings and gatherings involving leading Admorim and Rabbanim.
The largest portion of the Nesia is expected to take place in Meron, where the Rebbe will spend Shabbos together with the thousands making the trip.
A major Motzei Shabbos gathering is also planned in Meron, where renowned mashpia Reb Elimelech Biderman shlita is expected to lead a hadlakah attended by the large crowd.
Hundreds of participating bochurim earned their place on the trip through the “Torasi” seder halimud, after completing bechinos on the masechtos they had been learning.
The Rebbe is expected to remain in Eretz Yisroel through the following Wednesday before returning following the weeklong Nesia.
