Cleveland-based McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal and Liffman had 18 attorneys included in the 2027 edition of Ohio Super Lawyers with six included in this year’s Ohio Super Lawyers: Rising Stars for a total of 24 attorneys recognized.

Christian R. Patno and Ann Marie Ahern were recognized on the top lists for their respective practice areas. Patno, who oversees the firm’s personal injury and wrongful death practice, has over three decades of complex trial experience, according to a news release, and he is nationally recognized for his work on catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and defamation matters. He was ranked No. 2 among all Super Lawyers in Ohio.

Ahern, co-managing principal of the firm’s employment law group, represents individuals in employment disputes. She was ranked in the top 100 for the 2027 Ohio Super Lawyers and in the top 50 for the Women Ohio Super Lawyers and Cleveland Super Lawyers.

Patno has been selected every year since the publication’s inaugural 2004 edition, according to the release, while Ahern has earned the honor for 19-straight years.
