Emily G. Goldie, age 84, passed away on Aug. 20, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1941 in Cleveland to Frances Nederlander Kohn and Stuart Gross.

Emily worked as a travel agent for many years, living in both Cleveland and Scottsdale, Ariz., before returning to Cleveland to be closer to her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughters and was a loving, caring and fun presence in their lives. She will be especially remembered for her kindness, warmth and beautiful smile.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Beverly), Sherry (Rick) and David (Leigh); her siblings, Stuart (Jill), Marc (Lynne) and Nancy (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Eric (Jeremy), Amanda (Jake), Jared, Sarah, Rebecca, Ryan and Michelle; and her great-granddaughters, Ellie and Olivia.

A special thank you to Taheim, Ebony and Nikki for their compassionate care during Emily’s final days.

Shiva will be observed from 1:30 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Congregation Mishkan Or, 26000 Shaker Blvd. in Beachwood. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Empowering Epilepsy or Dogs Unlimited.

Emily will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
