Mrs. Henna Markel, a Crown Heights resident and mother of three, passed away on Tuesday, 12 Elul, 5786.
She was 45 and battled an illness.
Mrs. Markel, née Margolis, was the wife of Rabbi Moshe Markel, who is involved in the dedicated distribution and sale of Chassidus seforim published by Kehot Publication Society.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Moshe Markel, and their three sons, Menachem Mendel, Chaim, and Arik.
She is survived by her parents, Rabbi Shaul and Yita Gittel Margolis of Oak Park, Michigan, and her brothers and sisters.
LEVAYA & SHIVA
The levaya will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway on Wednesday at 12:30 PM and continue to Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, where burial will take place at 1:30 PM.
Her husband, sons, parents, and siblings will begin sitting shiva together at the Markel home: 763 Eastern Parkway, Apartment F3, Brooklyn, NY.
Rabbi Moshe Markel and the children will remain at this address.
The following family members will subsequently continue sitting shiva in their respective cities:
Rabbi Shaul and Yita Gittel Margolis, together with Mendy, Dovid, and Shea Margolis, will sit shiva beginning Friday morning at 23170 Gardner Street, Oak Park, MI.
Sora Milecki and Devora Leah Stern will sit shiva beginning Friday at 6540 NW 46th Street, Lauderhill, FL.
Avromie Margolis will sit shiva beginning Thursday evening at 1807 South Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA.
