The Jewish Children’s Museum welcomed local families to its third annual Kids’ Art Festival on Monday, for an afternoon of free crafts, sensory activities and active play in Crown Heights.

Held on the JCM Plaza at 792 Eastern Parkway, the annual summer community event drew children and families for three hours of hands-on activities and entertainment.

With Rosh Hashana approaching, this year’s festival featured a selection of holiday-themed art projects. Young artists designed colorful fans, decorated apple-shaped suncatchers with tissue paper, and created individual pomegranates that were combined into a collaborative community mural.

Children also enjoyed playdough and bubble play, along with a kids’ race track, jumping tires and other active and sensory activities.

Ices were available for children throughout the afternoon.

Now in its third year, the Kids’ Art Festival has become an annual summer tradition at the Jewish Children’s Museum, providing families in Crown Heights and the surrounding community with an afternoon of creativity and fun.

The free event was sponsored by the Jewish Children’s Museum.
