American announced that it will offer new daily service next summer on the following routes, with tickets going on sale by 8/31:

A lot of the expansion is made possible by the A321XLR, but that plane has been widely panned, with poorly designed business-class seats and zero Main Cabin Extra seats that aren’t exit rows.

On the other hand, it will allow American to serve cities like Vienna, which are otherwise untouched by US carriers.

American also plans on resuming service from JFK to Tel Aviv in late March. The airline hasn’t flown to the Holy Land since the October 7th attack.

It’s certainly not as flashy as United’s new flights, but these are some nice additions for American’s more modest international network.
