As the Yamim Noraim and Selichos season approaches, the legendary king of Jewish music, Mordechai Ben David has released a moving new single, “U’V’Tuvcha Hagadol.”

Presented by Yeedle Werdyger and Zevi Fried, the new song draws its words from Shacharis and Selichos, expressing Klal Yisroel’s heartfelt tefillah for chesed, rachamim and the ultimate Geulah.

The song was composed by Mordechai Ben David together with Eli Laufer, with musical arrangement and production by Eli Laufer, Moshe Laufer and Nir Graf.

“This is a tefillah that we say every morning after Parshas HaAkeidah,” Mordechai said.

“רבונו של עולם, כמו שכבש אברהם אבינו את רחמיו לעשות רצונך בלבב שלם, כן יכבשו רחמיך את כעסך מעלינו.”

“Master of the World, just as Avraham Avinu suppressed his compassion in order to fulfill Your will wholeheartedly, so too may Your compassion suppress Your anger against us.”

“Wishing that we should all have a good year, filled with abundance, closeness and love of Hashem,” MBD added.

The production is by Yeedle Werdyger and Zevi Fried, with vocal arrangement by Moishy Roth.
