A wide-scale enforcement operation was conducted over the past two days in Judea and Samaria against illegal construction sites classified as security and environmental threats.

On Sunday, Efraim District Coordination and Liaison (DCL) forces raided the village of Shuweika, north of Tulkarm, accompanied by the Supervision Unit and under the protection of regional brigade soldiers,

The operation focused on demolishing unauthorized construction elements that were erected adjacent to the security fence near the Israeli communities of Bahan and Bat Hefer. The defense establishment noted that the construction was conducted in Area C in total violation of an existing construction prohibition order, creating an immediate safety and security hazard in the area.

The next day, the enforcement moved to the Binyamin region. Binyamin DCL forces, together with the Supervision Unit and forces from the regional brigade, operated near Birzeit. The forces destroyed illegal construction infrastructure erected in the Wadi Zeytun (Ein Obeid) archaeological zone in Area C, adjacent to the ancient road to Jerusalem and under the historical Khirbit Tarfon site, which dates to the First and Second Temple periods.

The IDF, Civil Administration, and security bodies clarified that the determined operations will continue as part of the effort to maintain law and order in the area, while focusing on construction hazards that threaten security and stability.
