Assemblyman Aron Wieder Brings Mobile Office and Back-to-School Giveaway to Orangetown
Assemblyman Aron Wieder brought his mobile office to Orangetown on Monday, meeting with residents in the Town Hall Board Meeting Room while hosting a back-to-school supply giveaway for local families.
Residents sat down one-on-one with the Assemblyman and his staff to raise concerns, ask questions, and get help navigating state agencies. At the same time, a large number of families with school-age children stopped by to pick up fully stocked bags of school supplies for the new school year.
The distribution was made possible through a grant secured by Assemblyman Wieder in partnership with the Community Outreach Center. Each bag includes top-tier, name-brand supplies from Crayola, BIC, Elmer’s, Expo, Staples, Zebra and more.
Assemblyman Wieder also supplied bags for this upcoming Wednesday’s East Ramapo Back-to-School event, ensuring every child in attendance will have what they need to start the year strong.
“This is why I ran to represent this district,” said Assemblyman Wieder. “To deliver real results that make life easier for families. Every child in the 97th District deserves to walk into class on the first day prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.”
