Chaverim Of Rockland officially unveiled its new state-of-the-art dispatch headquarters Thursday night with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held during the organization’s annual Members Appreciation BBQ at its headquarters on Saddle River Road.

The well-attended evening brought together Chaverim members and dispatchers, law enforcement officials, elected officials, community leaders and friends of the organization to celebrate the volunteers who respond to thousands of calls throughout Rockland County each year and to mark the opening of the upgraded dispatch facility.

The new dispatch center represents a major investment in Chaverim’s emergency response capabilities, providing its dispatchers with a modern, dedicated headquarters designed to improve communications and coordination as the organization continues to handle a growing volume of calls across the community.

Chaverim Of Rockland also expressed its appreciation to the many businesses and supporters who helped make the new dispatch headquarters possible. Sponsors recognized included the Town of Ramapo, Y&Y Windows + Doors, Triangle Plumbing, EZ Glass, Big Star, Grand Flooring, Kivis Signature, SuperSeal Insulation, Security Alert, Duddy’s Power, Estellich Interior Design, RHP Hardware and Paint, KL Cooling & Heating, Uprise Interior, Alarcon Construction, Mr. Clean, Cleanmax, Congers Signarama and LB Electric Corp.

The annual Members Appreciation BBQ was produced by YF Productions, with members gathering for an evening recognizing their dedication and around-the-clock service to the Rockland County community.

While Chaverim members gathered for the event, Chaverim of Orange County and New Square Ershte Hilf stepped in to cover calls for the community, allowing Rockland members to participate in the annual appreciation evening. Chaverim Of Rockland publicly thanked both organizations for their assistance, saying their support and dedication were deeply appreciated.
