Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has called out boycotts of Israel as antisemitic.

"It's simple: boycotting the world’s only Jewish state is antisemitism," she wrote in a post on X.

"Arkansas law makes clear that we won’t do business with any company that deliberately chooses to engage in BDS activities. Period."

On Wednesday, Kan News reported that Israel is preparing to announce a series of reciprocal measures and sanctions against France and other countries that have imposed restrictions on Israeli settlement activity.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham defended the government's decision Tuesday to impose a ban on trade in goods produced in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, saying Britain must be willing to take action to advance what it views as a two-state solution.

Burnham wrote in a post on social media that the measures were directed at policies of the current Israeli government rather than at Israel's population, arguing that Britain had been too hesitant in responding to developments in the region.

Last Thursday, the US House of Representatives approved bipartisan legislation that would make colleges and universities ineligible for federal student aid if they participate in certain commercial or academic boycotts of Israel associated with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
