Itamar Galinsky, who was critically wounded during the fighting in Lebanon nearly two years ago, has returned to reserve duty in the same unit in which he was serving when he was wounded.

"Dear people of Israel, my name is Itamar Galinsky. I was critically wounded in the fighting in Lebanon nearly two years ago, and thank G-d, after two years, I have had the privilege of returning to reserve duty," he said.

Galinsky also clarified that the purpose of the video he published was not to gain publicity or recognition, but to thank G-d.

"Two years ago, I didn't know if I would make it out alive at all. Today, thank G-d, I have returned to reserve duty in the unit in which I was wounded in Lebanon two years ago," he said.

He added, "If they tell you that the army is worn down, that there are no reserve forces, there are many people like me who can't fully return either, but who are trying to do whatever they can," he said.

"The nation of Israel lives!" he concluded.
