Clarkstown Police Chief Fay has announced the promotion of longtime Officer M. Keane to the rank of Detective, recognizing more than two decades of service to the department and the Clarkstown community.

Detective Keane joined the Clarkstown Police Department in 2003 and has served in a variety of roles throughout his career. Since 2011, he has been a member of the department’s K9 Unit, where his extensive experience has made him a valued member of the team.

Keane is also certified as a K9 examiner, reflecting his advanced knowledge and experience in K9 operations, training and evaluation.

The Clarkstown Police Department congratulated Detective Keane on his well-deserved promotion and wished him continued success as he begins his new assignment.
