Chaverim of Rockland and the Town of Ramapo OEP are urging residents to prepare for strong winds and heavy rain expected across Rockland County on Shabbos and Sunday, the first days of Yom Tov. Secure your Shlock, Schach and Sukkah, clear drains, check sump pumps, and prepare for possible flooding, power outages and downed trees. Sandbags are available at the Ramapo Highway Department, 26 Pioneer Avenue in Suffern.
