An Israeli man approximately 26 years old from the Yerushalayim area drowned after falling from a watercraft while vacationing with friends in Norway.

According to ZAKA, the young man was missing for several hours before he was found dead.

ZAKA’s International Division is coordinating with Norwegian authorities to secure the release of his body and arrange its transfer to Israel for kevurah.

Baruch Nidam, director of the division, said the team began working immediately upon receiving the report to ensure kavod hameis and facilitate the arrangements for the levaya and kevurah in Israel.
