The IDF announced Thursday that it eliminated two terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre, including a Hamas commander involved in kidnapping six Israelis from Kibbutz Be’eri.

Muhammad Jamal Mahmoud Abu Al-Shaar, a cell commander in Hamas’ military wing, was eliminated Tuesday in Gaza City. According to the IDF, he participated in abducting Sharon Hertzman-Avigdori, Noam Avigdori, Adi Shoham, Nave Shoham, Yahel Shoham and Shoshan Haran.

In a separate strike Tuesday in Jabalia, the military eliminated Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Musab Abd al-Jalil Saqib Balbisi, who also infiltrated Israel during the massacre.

The IDF said both men had recently worked to advance attacks against Israeli troops and civilians, violating the ceasefire. Precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used to reduce the risk to civilians.

The military also reported eliminating 70 terrorists during September, including three brigade commanders, two battalion commanders and nine company commanders. Seventeen were involved in the October 7 invasion, kidnappings or holding hostages.
