Oct 5, 2026·1 min read

A 17-year-old bochur who was in Crown Heights for Simchas Torah was critically injured following a serious incident.

The bochur, identified as Shneur Zalman Neiman, was among those who had come to spend Simchas Torah at 770 Eastern Parkway.

According to the campaign to help for his recovery, his parents shared that Shneur had fallen and suffered a severe head injury.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently sedated and on life support.

His parents, R’ Shloime and Talia, are on the way to New York to care for him.

Friends and members of the community have urged the public to daven for his complete recovery.

His name for Tehillim is Shneur Zalman ben Talia Natasha.

A fundraising campaign has also been launched to assist the Neiman family during this difficult time.

The devastating situation that has suddenly befallen the family involves enormous expenses, including travel costs, accommodations, and urgent needs to ensure that every possible effort is made, through natural means, to bring about a miracle.
