
Assemblymen Aron Wieder, Pat Carroll Present $50,000 in Funding to Chaverim of Rockland
Assemblyman Aron Wieder and Assemblyman Pat Carroll visited Chaverim of Rockland headquarters on Wednesday, where they presented checks totaling $50,000 in funding for the volunteer emergency assistance organization.
Assemblyman Wieder secured $30,000 in funding, while Assemblyman Carroll secured an additional $20,000.
During the visit, the lawmakers toured Chaverim’s headquarters and received an inside look at the organization’s operations. The tour included the newly opened dispatch center, emergency response vehicles, equipment, and other resources used by Chaverim volunteers to assist thousands of residents throughout Rockland County.
Chaverim representatives thanked Wieder and Carroll for their support and for helping provide funding that will strengthen the organization’s ability to continue serving the community.
