TRUMP DISMISSES IRAN INTELLIGENCE CLAIMS: President Says Russia And China Are Not Helping Tehran

Oct 13, 2026·1 min read

President Donald Trump rejected claims that Russia and China are providing significant assistance to Iran amid the ongoing regional conflict, declaring that he does not believe either country is meaningfully supporting Tehran’s military campaign. The president addressed the allegations in a social media statement.

Trump acknowledged the possibility that limited assistance could exist but dismissed suggestions that Moscow and Beijing were playing a major role in helping Iran confront the United States and Israel.

The comments come amid continuing scrutiny of Iran’s relationships with Russia and China, both of which have maintained diplomatic and economic ties with Tehran despite Western sanctions and military tensions.

Washington has been examining reports concerning potential military assistance, intelligence sharing and sanctions evasion involving Iran and foreign governments. Trump did not announce new sanctions or identify a specific intelligence assessment supporting his remarks.
