Oct 14, 2026·1 min read

Part of a building undergoing renovation collapsed Wednesday morning on Nachlat Binyamin Street in southern Tel Aviv, near Rothschild Boulevard. Magen David Adom received the initial report at 9:37 a.m., and rescue and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene.

Yarkon District police officers also arrived, closing off and securing the area while assisting emergency crews. Rescue teams are conducting extensive searches through the rubble to rule out anyone being trapped. No one had been found injured at the time of the report, and emergency personnel continued working at the scene.

Nearby security cameras captured the panic as the building collapsed Wednesday morning in Tel Aviv. The footage shows a man sitting on a nearby bench getting up and running for his life as the structure came down, while other passersby fled the scene in panic.
