Montvale, NJ Mayor Mike Ghassali, accompanied by his administrator, visited the newly established Eiruv of Monsey headquarters on Thursday afternoon, touring the 3,000-square-foot warehouse, office, and operations center.

The mayor was welcomed by Rabbi Chaim M. Steinmetz, who oversees Eiruv operations, along with staff members, maintenance crews, and community liaison Abe Rosenberg.

During the visit, officials received a firsthand look at the extensive work involved in maintaining the Eiruv, which serves thousands of families throughout Monsey and surrounding communities.

Discussions focused on the longstanding cooperation between the Eiruv and Montvale officials, ensuring maintenance crews can operate safely and in coordination with local authorities. The meeting also addressed future Eiruv upgrades, improvement plans, and continued collaboration with neighboring municipalities.
