The Clarkstown Police Department has announced the promotion of Police Officer Joseph Iorio to the rank of Sergeant.

Sgt. Iorio brings 12 years of law enforcement experience to his new position, having joined the Clarkstown Police Department in January 2018. During his time with the department, he has served as a member of the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), contributing to the department’s response to critical incidents.

Following his promotion, Sgt. Iorio will be assigned to the Patrol Division, where he will continue serving and protecting the Clarkstown community.

Clarkstown Police Chief James Fay and members of the department congratulated Sgt. Iorio on his promotion and wished him continued success in his new role.
