Urgent: Single Mother and Her Children in Israel Face Losing Their Home
A few years ago, she came to Eretz Yisrael hoping to build a new life and a better future for her children. She worked hard to provide her family with a stable and dignified home.
Then, her life changed!
She was diagnosed with a serious illness, beginning a painful period of medical treatments and uncertainty. As the pressures surrounding her illness and the family’s circumstances became increasingly difficult, her husband was unable to cope and ultimately left, leaving her alone to care for their children.
Suddenly, this mother found herself facing a serious illness while also carrying the responsibility for her children on her own, without family in Israel to fall back on.
And the struggle did not affect her alone. Her children have been deeply affected by everything the family has endured and now require emotional and medical care of their own.
As her medical condition affected her ability to support the family, their financial situation deteriorated. Over time, debts accumulated to hundreds of thousands of shekels.
Now, the family faces its most frightening challenge yet:
An eviction order has already been issued, putting this mother and her children at risk of losing their home!
“I never imagined that I would have to ask strangers for help,” she says. “I worked hard my entire life and always tried to take care of my children. But today, I simply cannot do this alone anymore.”
She has no family nearby who can take them in and no safety net to fall back on. Her greatest fear is not for herself, but for her children.
“After everything they have already been through, I cannot bear the thought of them losing the one place where they can still feel safe.”
She is now turning to Klal Yisrael with a heartfelt plea: “Please help me keep a roof over my children’s heads and give them hope for a better future.”
Every contribution can help this mother preserve her family’s stability, provide her children with the care they need, and fight to keep a roof over their heads. For those who cannot contribute, sharing the campaign can help her story reach someone who can.
In the zechus of this tremendous mitzvah and act of chesed, may Hashem bentch all those who help with health, parnassah, nachas, and abundant brachos.
