Thousands Stream into Chabad Houses for JLI’s Latest Course on Kabbalah
This month, tens of thousands of Jews worldwide—from Boise, Idaho, to Miami, Florida, to Stockholm, Sweden—will gather at their local Chabad House for the first lesson of JLI’s latest course, Kabbalah and the Hidden Architecture of You.
“This is a course that explores the most fascinating concepts in kabbalah and how they influence your life,” says course author Rabbi Mordechai Dinerman. “It’s no surprise that people are so fascinated by mysterious phenomena like dreams, reincarnation, and soulmates.” The course satisfies that curiosity and shows students how kabbalah directly relates to their lives.
For shluchim and shluchos like Rebbetzin Rivkah Slonim in Binghamton, New York, the course gives students an opportunity to discover Judaism’s spiritual wisdom and its relevance to their daily lives.
“It’s like tearing the facade off the world’s surface and seeing the spiritual forces at work behind the scenes,” Slonim says. “Your soul is spilling out into your body’s life all day, every day. It’s not a Yom Kippur special.”
Across the next six weeks, these tens of thousands of students will explore forty fascinating ideas, from gilgul and ibur, to sleep and dreams, to the power of our words and thoughts, and the course includes a full overview of the ten sefiros and how they are embedded in our personalities, worldviews, and even our bodies. But most of all, they’ll walk away with a profound new respect for the depths of the Torah’s wisdom.
