TORAH RALLY: Tens Of Thousands Expected At UTJ Gathering In Bnei Brak Led By Gedolei Yisrael

Oct 23, 2026·2 min read

Tens of thousands of Yidden from across Eretz Yisrael are expected to gather in Bnei Brak this Sunday, 14 Cheshvan, for a major United Torah Judaism rally led by Gedolei Yisrael shlita, ahead of Tuesday’s elections.

The gathering, titled “Lehikahel V’Laamod Al Nafsheinu,” will begin at 7:15 p.m. on Em HaMoshavot Road at the HaRav Landau Bridge, near the supermarket complex and Kiryat Herzog.

Ahead of the rally, Gedolei Yisrael issued a special letter calling participation a “sacred obligation” amid the persecution of the Torah world and yeshiva bochurim. They urged the public to strengthen Yahadus HaTorah, whose ballot symbol is Gimmel.

The letter opens with the words, “Eis tzarah hi l’Yaakov u’mimenah yivasheia”—a time of distress for Yaakov, from which he will be saved.

“We hereby call upon all those who tremble at the word of Hashem to regard it as a sacred obligation to participate in the emergency gathering that will take place, b’ezras Hashem, in Bnei Brak this coming Sunday, 14 Marcheshvan, for the salvation of Torah and to strengthen the Yahadus HaTorah list, whose symbol is Gimmel, ahead of the upcoming elections on 16 Marcheshvan,” the Gedolim wrote.

“At this time of distress, when the Torah world is being disparaged and bnei Torah are being persecuted, it is impossible to stand aside. Rather, we are obligated to stand up and act with all our strength for Torah and those who learn it. Therefore, there is a great obligation to participate in this gathering at this fateful hour.”

The letter concludes with a bracha for those taking part:

“Certainly, all those who participate in sanctifying Shem Shamayim and strengthening Torah and its learners will merit abundant siyata diShmaya, bracha and hatzlacha, and nachas d’kedusha from their children and grandchildren, who will grow into tzaddikim and yirei Shamayim, engaged in Torah and mitzvos throughout their lives.”

Public transportation will be reinforced to accommodate the expected crowds, with additional bus service from Chareidi population centers and increased train service to and from the nearby Bnei Brak station.

Em HaMoshavot Road will be closed to traffic during the rally.

The event is being held with police approval, and attendees are asked to follow instructions from organizers, ushers and security personnel.

A designated area will also be provided for journalists and media representatives covering the gathering.
