Just as many streets are still lined with snow and cleanup crews are finishing up from the last storm, there may be little time to fully catch our breath.
City emergency officials say they are already monitoring the next possible winter storm, which could arrive this weekend. NYC Emergency Management is coordinating with the National Weather Service as forecasts currently show a 30 to 50 percent chance of accumulating snow across the city, with potential totals ranging from 1 to 6 inches.
It’s still very early to tell for sure, and confidence in the forecast will improve over the next few days as the storm track becomes clearer. For now, residents are encouraged to think ahead about travel plans.
Updates will be shared on BoroPark24 as more information becomes available.
